Events

Keeping Wrawby Windmill well maintained and open to the public requires constant fundraising from the members of the Wrawby Windmill Society. This is done by a series of open days and special events held throughout the year as well as by the sale of a small selection of souvenirs.

Its always a great day for all the family and has Stationary Engines, Vintage Cars, Vintage Games, Stalls and of course the windmill!

There is a great raffle with fantastic prizes donated by the brilliant shops in Brigg and some of the wonderful Brigg Food Vendors will be with us as well.

Please call Jason Wray on 07974612437 to book to bring a classic car or bike or email info@wrawbywindmill.co.uk to enquire about bringing tractors/rides or reserve a selling pitch.

Heritage Weekend Car and Craft Open Afternoon.

September 14th will be the last open day event of 2025, it also coincides with Lincolns Heritage Weekend. We will be open from 10am until 3pm but the last tour of the mill starts at 2:30pm. It will also be almost 65 Years to the date that the mill reopened as the UK’s first ever restored mill open to the public! There will be a special celebration of the history of the mill.

We have invited classic cars of all types along as well as some locally built classics. We have Craft Stalls, as well as some heritage crafters. You will be able to see the traditional crafts of Spinning, Weaving and Lace Making. You can also find out about the process that fleece goes though to become a jumper!

We have local burger van, Phat Patties Grill, coming as well as Heavens Cakes and for this open afternoon there will be a WC on site.

Come along and support the Windmill and local businesses and enjoy the (hopefully) good weather!
